From the sidelines to the soul of performance—why we started V + Force
I’m a mother of three, and like many parents, I spend weekends cheering from the sidelines. My eldest son plays for JDL in Australia, and one day he asked me if he could buy grip socks like his teammates. We went looking—but what I found surprised me: expensive socks with no clear function. As someone with Japanese roots, I’ve always admired the practicality and precision of Japanese products. So, I started digging deeper.
In Japan, grip socks aren’t just trendy—they’re engineered for performance. I discovered a supplier who shares that philosophy. He’s deeply knowledgeable about the sole’s role in athletic movement and regularly advises both young and professional athletes. He explained how poorly fitted shoes and underused soles can affect posture, performance, and even lead to injury.
That conversation changed everything.
